KM bizhub PRESS C6000 vs. Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9075 or 9076 PRO

Sorry to hear about that. Our biggest factor in getting the 7000 was the stock we were running. I am constantly running 80-100# cover. In fact the decision was based on one certain customer needing to print 2/sided 100# cover. I even got try that particular job out on a KM and a Xerox before we...

KM bizhub PRESS C6000 vs. Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9075 or 9076 PRO

If you want a work horse, I would go with a Xerox. I was looking between Canon and Xerox when I was looking to replace my KM Bizhub. To me it seemed like KM maintenance was here more than I was and as far as the canon (7000), the people I talk to said it was down a lot of the time. Other than...

Digital press for long term reliability

I have the 6500 predecessor, the Bizhub C500. I can tell you that about 4 months left on a 3 year contract, not only has everything been replaced in that machine at least 1 once (I think I am being kind) but it still runs like cr#p. I did have a chance to run the 6500 once when ours was done...

Which Digital Press to go with

One thing you need to remember about the Konica is that if you are running heavier stocks, the machine will slow down!! I would definitely not look at Canon/Xerox 7000. Scale down to the smaller Xerox

    Xerox versus Canon

Hello all, Just thought I would give an update. We did purchase the Xerox 7000AP. I think the big sticking point in all the research was the poor service by Canon. I hope this helped others out there, it helped me. Thanks again for everyones input. Dave

    Konica c500 and Canon CLC5100 (5000)

Stay away from the Konica C500 also. I am assuming you are talking about the Bizhub C500. In fact not happy at all with Konica. If color consistency and duplexing registration is not any concern then that is the machine for you.

    Xerox versus Canon

Thanks Craig, we have made some alterations to our Xerox proposal and we will see what they think. Talk to a few others and clicks seem to be pretty negotiable (especially these days).

    Xerox versus Canon

Just to give everybody an update on our quest. We have been checking a few references given to us by Canon and Xerox. Pretty much what I am reading here. One reference with a Canon just on the other side of town told us he loves the machine when it is running. Problem is keeping it running. Last...

Are you going to Graph Expo?

I will be there probably on Sunday. (I hope the Bears are not at home, I will have to check). I agree, I have free pass offers from 4 different venders.

    Xerox versus Canon

Drewstre, Could your location have anything to do with your response time. I know I am within less than 1 hour from Canon and Xerox offices where the techs work out of. If you are under a contract and have that in writing I would start pitching a fit.

    Xerox versus Canon

Thanks for the input Kathy, we replaced a 3200 with a Konika Bizhub C500 3 years ago because of the same reasons. Unfortunately that opened up a whole new can of worms that can probable be its own discussion.

    Xerox versus Canon

Drewster, Craig is correct, I am being told from both Canon and Xerox that I will have a 1 in half hour response time. Now my shop has 2 B/W Canons in our mailing department, and they have told me that it could be a full day before they get service. I have been told that the techs for the...

    Xerox versus Canon

Thanks Colorblind. I would love to be able to be able to do a test drive like that. Unfortunately the size of the machines will not allow for me to do that. Thanks for the input.

    Xerox versus Canon

Hello All, I'm also new to the forum so please be patient if I don't follow the correct protocal. My company is going through the painful testing and comparing of the Canon 7000VP and the Xerox 7000AP.
