Forget about the Electrostatic Plates. We used them in the 1960's and 70's. The require an electrostatic plate maker special fountain solutions and were ment for duplicator type work. They are not worth anything.:) DanB

We moved platemaking from prepress to press years ago when we went to CTP. This works well for us because plates are made just in time as needed. I some cases, we've save the cost of remaking plates due to last minute customer alterations. Dan B

If you choose to take the "print as Image" route, and you only want one copy then send it in batches printing maybe 25 pages at a time. The process takes alot of computer power and can hang if you choose to print too many pages. If you need to make multiple copies of the PDF I would suggest...

You could use the Adobe Acrobat redaction tool. Before you do, make a backup copy of the original PDF incase you redact too much.
