Now that we know what press you have here is a couple of thoughts. 1. When was the last time you rebuilt your feeder head? 2. Are you sure your feeder pump is large enough? I say this because around 1989 and 1990 Komori used a pump a bit too small, I am assuming simply to fit it under the catwalk.

I agree with Lennyr. Clean the roller with a good chrome roller cleaner and the follow up with a vinegar water rinse with every single wash up.

You say the fountain solution is kept at 60F. Is that in the tanks or in the tray? I find my water in the tray is about 5 degrees warmer than in the tank, yours could be even warmer than that. I don't think you want your FS that hot.
