    Washed out Blacks

Re: Washed out Blacks Recently we had to switch paper for what sounds like the same reason. Our blacks were terrible. We were using Explorer gloss and dull but now are running Xerox and Futura laser. Of course, Xerox paper is the most expensive but on it the blacks are perfect. We were told it...

    Printing .020 and .010 styrene on a QS3200?

We run quite a bit of polystyrene .020 and .030 and static is the biggest issue with it- causing blurred images, text and ink splatters. We have been advised that 40% humidity is ideal but we have been satisfied with the quality at around 25-30%. You would be able to adjust curing to avoid too...

    freakin' 700!!!

Is some of the paper cut short grain? Maybe not, just a thought. We will increase our paper weight if we are getting a lot of jamming on our 800 (even with programming it for short grain). We have to bend the heck out of some stocks to get them to run. Especially paper that hasn't been sitting...

    Colour dropout on Vutek QS3200

We have had similar issues with our black and cyan jets. Replacing pumps worked for the black. And cyan dropouts were being caused by a faulty nozzle on a jet. We've also adjusted voltages at times to remedy other dropouts.

    Slip Sheeting on Fiery Rip/Xerox

Re: Slip Sheeting on Fiery Rip/Xerox What if you have a 16,500 page variable data PDF and you want a slip sheet after every 10 pages? Is there a (easy) way to do this?
