    Advice on entry production machine OKI9431 v Canon C650 v Xerox C70

I can recommend you Xerox digital presses. Won't say anything about Canon or OKI as I never touched them. Have 3 years of experience with Xerox DC770 (before was DC250 and WC can't remember which model), all together 7 years. With 770 I've been setting up the entire workflow from scratch, to be...

    Max paper weight xerox c60

I used to operate on DC250 and DC770 for 5 years (2 years DC250 and 3 years DC770). The heaviest stock I used on regular basis was 400 gsm matt coated (Magno as far as I remember) which has about 410 microns of thickness. Of course grain follow the short edge. 770 had no problems to duplex it...

Konica Minolta Bizhub Pro 1050 – carbon copy function in driver needed

I've applied for KM Developer Support Program, I should get an access to their SDK, so I can ask my friend programmer to spit out a few lines of code for this specific task. Maybe this will make it. Thanks for all the responses, much appreciated!

Konica Minolta Bizhub Pro 1050 – carbon copy function in driver needed

I have installed 958 driver, Carbon Copy is there but it prints only master page, doesn't pull from other trays, regardless of which tray is set for original copy. Perhaps is more to it than just a printer driver? Maybe this function is hardware/firmware supported?

Konica Minolta Bizhub Pro 1050 – carbon copy function in driver needed

I've tried various 1050/1051 drivers, I'll give a try to 958 driver then, need to check if that Carbon mode is available beforehand. Thanks for the tip anyway.

Konica Minolta Bizhub Pro 1050 – carbon copy function in driver needed

Thanks guys for all your effort, PricelineNegotiator, I don't overcomplicate my stuff, always look for the most efficient solution, either "legitimate" or a workaround. In this case I have a pdf output from InDesign using built-in data merge function. There are some bank acc numbers and a...

Konica Minolta Bizhub Pro 1050 – carbon copy function in driver needed

I have 4 sheets making one set. Cannot use precollated carbonless as if the jam occurs (and it does), the following records won't keep the right sequence of the colours.

Konica Minolta Bizhub Pro 1050 – carbon copy function in driver needed

Hi there, could anyone help to resolve this issue: I need to print variable data (about 40k records) on carbonless paper, multiple copies for each record on different colours of paper, from multiple trays. I found there is a function in some of the KM Bizhub presses which is called "Carbon...

    Difference between ink and paint

Oil paint is opaque (most of them at least) and inkjet printer's ink is translucent (as well at least most of them), so I agree so far in 99%. But.. Glass paint not necessarily has to be opaque and screen printing ink not necessarily has to be translucent. Unfortunately definitions has mixed up...

    Calibration problem

IMO you have problem with consistency of color coverage rather than calibration and/or color management (Rip sends one set of bitmap images to the printer for whole job, if it's not VDP). The previous digital press I used to work with was Xerox DC250, which had serious problem with printing...

    Scorer for digital print

Hi there, we use Morgana AutoCreaser (production UK) which works very well with most of papers printed digitally (from gloss coated 150 gsm (about 115 microns) to card board 450 gsm (540 microns). Problems may appear with some of the coated papers, especially with matt finish and when the grain...
