Printing 13x26 Duplex on Xerox Versant 3100

On an XLS sheet my experience it is the movement on the tail end of the sheet that is skewing the image. Xerox sells a guide to keep the sheet straight see video of this guide you order from sales rep. Or I have seen users that have make their own guides to keep the tail end of the sheet...

    Xerox 3100 VS KM 6100

Craig, I sent you (I think did, but I never used the chat feature on this site - a private chat message) my email. I can send you what I have. Keep in mind it is 'marketing' but as it is done by a 3rd party so some good things to consider or at least be aware. Always good to make an informed...

    Xerox 3100 VS KM 6100

On all digital presses you get some productivity hit (slow down, IQ adjustments, internal process control stuff) when you do a tray switch or unload after a stop, anything that stops or slows a press (not just a Versant all presses, and we work in engineering to minimize - and why a Versant has...

    Xerox 3100 VS KM 6100

For those of you with a Versant (this works on all models 80/180/2100/3100 all configurations) running envelopes in North America you can get this for feeding and unloading: https://youtu.be/DqB_Q77uRkY - customers that have it love it, nice add-on if you do a lot of envelopes.

Road - How is the new product working out? How is the image permanence for postal use? What do you like about it? What don't you like?

    Versant 2100 FWA alignment...

No Title Your FWA should give you very accurate results, on different stocks and different sizes. I suspect something is on the scan bar or on the alignment mark in the FWA? You should have service come and clean scanner and check to make sure nothing is on the alignment bar / roll.

Regular #10 Envelopes on Xerox 770 or Xerox 1000

The Xerox 700/770 does not run envelopes. The Versant 80 and 2100 do. On a 7xx you have a smaller 'lunch box' fuser and envelopes will catch or wrinkle as it is not designed for that (an envelope is 4 sheets of paper). On a Versant it uses a belt fuser so it more open to different media (52...

    Versant 80 installed

For envelope printing, I always recommend face-up output to top tray. It does require more unloading, but, you avoid rollers and handling of the envelope. Keep in mind an envelope ends up being 4 sheets of paper in a single pass. We are planning a Google Hangout with Versant customers who are...

Xerox Square fold trimmer and Two knife trimmer

Rodney, yes, the Xerox Square Fold Trimmer module is the same product that is offered on Versant 80, as is the Two Knife Trimmer option. Finishing accessories don’t have a meter like on the press – so be cautious on reconditioned units, unless you are under a service contract – it is like a car...

    KM 1075 / 1085 vs. Xerox Versant 80 vs Ricoh C7100

Yes, for the most part, very similar. However on V80 we added more production options. DFA connection for finishing is now available allowing you to add Horizons or Plockmatic 35/50 for inline. As well as the Feeders - we now offer an Advanced High Capacity (same one that comes standard on...

    KM 1075 / 1085 vs. Xerox Versant 80 vs Ricoh C7100

I am with Xerox and am the marketing manager for the Xerox Versant 80 Press. Some pretty significant differences between the Versant 80 and 2100 press. I like to put it in three buckets: 1) speed / duty cycle – or level of production capability; 2) automation – with 2100 the Full Width Array...

    Xerox 560 to C75 Experience...

KDW75, great to hear the good report on the Xerox Color C75 Press, I am the Xerox product marketing manager for the C75 and J75. Have you tried SIQA (creating automatic paper alignments see Xerox C&J 75 Simple Image Quality Adjustment (SIQA) Media Registration - YouTube ) this is a great...

    Canon C6010VP vs Xerox C75

Orvanan, I am the product marketing manager for C&J 75. As they are my ‘children’ I do love them, but, know they have limitations. They are solid value priced production printers that are multifunction for copy, scan and print. The J75 did win the BLI Independent testing ‘2014 Press of the...

    Canon C6010VP vs Xerox C75

Orvanon, have you tried the SIQA registration feature to create custom paper profiles? What you can do is create a custom paper profile for that stock. As long as it is not an unusually substrate (over / under spec for printer) you should be having good results. Has Xerox service looked at...

    Canon C6010VP vs Xerox C75

Many more similarities between the C & J – but, the biggest differences is the J runs all stocks at rated speed, and has an in-line spectrophotometer (ILS). So with a J you don’t get a slow down on (all manufactures use A4/Letter as speed rating) on heavy or coated stocks, on a J you run 300...
