    Plockmatic 350m skew

Hi everyone! Hope you're all well! We have a 2017 plockmatic 350m which we use to hand finish booklets. We're really happy with the machine apart from I'm getting a small skew on the books. (Photo attached). I've searched google for answers and checked all the obvious settings such as paper...

4 staple booket maker? Square back folder?

yeah that would be nice, but puts the price over what schools are willing to pay for the type of books we're doing.

4 staple booket maker? Square back folder?

Really difficult to please everyone. We used to perfect bind them, but then they didn’t lie flat so that was no good either…

4 staple booket maker? Square back folder?

I think we’re happy to do offiline. 16 sheets of 80gsm and one cover of 250gsm a3 down to a4 is the plan

4 staple booket maker? Square back folder?

Hi does anyone know of a booklet maker that will fix 4 staples, Sadlestich? Also does a squareback folder make your booklets stronger? Seeing as the staples are then not on the crease? Cheers

Hi. I’ve taken on board what you have said but I don’t think we have the space/capital for two machines. so we’re planning to print the 64 page bw on the versant. I take on board what you say about it causing issues, but as long as the supplier is happy to service it… I guess. we haven’t seen...

    Book making inline/offline/guillotine

Guessing with this unit, we would be looking for a guillotine as well? As it doesn't trim all three sides... I don't know if I'm just lazy but I ideally want to limit the amount of steps as much as possible.

    Book making inline/offline/guillotine

Hi. Looking to run an edge to edge a4 booklet, 250gsm cover full colour, 64-page mono inset on 100gsm. Folded to a4 and stapled. Printing anywhere from 100-500 of the same design at a time.

    Book making inline/offline/guillotine

Hi. We're looking to bring some of our digital print in house to make booklets. The original thought was to purchase a 2 knife trimmer and a square edge folder to trim all three sides. I understand an inline trimmer slows print production down, but I ideally want to limit the number of tasks I...

    Novice - buying a versant 80

Thanks, yeah one of the guys said it might be smarter to do it that way, then have an offline booklet maker... Quite excited at the thought of bringing our digital work inhouse.
