Cannon Imagepress C810 - What do you think???

Wow. Thank you for this awesome review. Incredible amount of detail. And insight. With my current Xerox 180 set up, sometimes I would have some difficulty running cover stocks, and then I would just manually curl the pile of sheets upward, and that would help a whole lot. Also, using rubber...

Cannon Imagepress C810 - What do you think???

Thank you. When you say “active registration” do you mean that the front to back registration changes as the sheet size various slightly?

Cannon Imagepress C810 - What do you think???

Thank you very much for your input. It is greatly appreciated. I am considering an 810 so that might be somewhat of an upgrade. I’m very surprised to hear that you were getting 16 point stock through there. That sounds like that must be quite a bit more than 350 GSM, right? I am sorry to hear...

Cannon Imagepress C810 - What do you think???

Hi all. I am strongly considering getting a canon imagepress C810 with a POD Deck Lite-C1 and catch tray and I was interested in finding out what everybody's experience is with this machine. Of course, all input is welcome. I would be interested in anything anyone has to say about the machine...

    Xerox Drums issues Resolved???

Yes, I can also say that the service techs have been very good on my end as well. If I called them up this afternoon, they are there by tomorrow morning. I don’t think you can really ask much more than that.

    Xerox Drums issues Resolved???

Yeah, the service techs really don’t do much to help you as far as tips go with stuff like this. They just seem to be largely a bunch of parts swappers. sometimes I literally just take a bad drum out, put it back in the wrapper in the box, and then put it back in the press several weeks later...

    Xerox Drums issues Resolved???

Not sure what your issue with the drums are. I know I have had many myself. Repeating dots, repeating bands of color, deletions of color. That's about the three issues that I've had. I have actually had some luck with wiping the drum down with a lint free cloth. This has worked well when there...

Xerox Toner Shortages-Anyone Else Having Problems?

I have a Versant 180 which I just bought in February 2020. I'm having all the same problems that all of you were having. Right now, yellow toner is the thing. I can't get yellow toner. I have that color on back order for months now. I have a service contract and now I'm going to potentially have...

    Xerox yellow toner.

Interesting. So it sounds like this is related to the drums going bad with so few clicks on them? I think the story that I got was that the toner was bad due to metal filings in it or something like that and that that caused the drums to go bad? I want to say that I don't actually know what...

    Xerox yellow toner.

It's nice to see that there are other people on the same sheet of music. I am going on a Ricoh demonstration in NYC Next week. I will be interested to see what those machines are all about.

    Xerox yellow toner.

Glad you doing well with supplies. I also have a Versant 180. thinking of upgrading to a Versant 280 at some point but I’m also looking at Konica Minolta and Ricoh as possibilities. I’m starting to get the idea that having multiple manufactures might give me a little insurance that if I have...

    Xerox yellow toner.

Hello! I have a printing business in Eastern Pennsylvania. We use Xerox and are having an extremely difficult time getting yellow toner. I was wondering how many of you out there are experiencing these sorts of problems and if anyone heard anything about when things would be getting back online...
