    Duplo 618 blade replacement

Interesting. I feel that the 618 did the exact opposite for us. Maybe my little challenge cutter just doesn't cut it. I think if you don't have a good operator on the guillotine it will tend to be off from my experience with my challenge.

    Ricoh B/W Digital Presses

I don't have one personally but a buddy has one with 20m+ clicks and would run both NCR and 20lb text only. He just got a newer bw machine with the plotmatic square binder with trim unit and I saw what he was running and looked pretty good. He has about 1.5m clicks on it so far and he's happy...

Canon USA Charging Shipping on Contract Supplies?

Canon USA is such a POS. Sorry.

    Favorite NCR Paper

Oh just to clarify, I run my NCR's on the canon c710. Roller feeders not air vacuum trays on it.

    Favorite NCR Paper

I used to use superior from Kelly until my local supplier sold me excel for much cheaper. I didn't have any issues with excel but decided to swap to rainbow since it was about 20% cheaper in price. But I realized the rainbow keeps jamming with double feeds. Had canon replace a bunch of parts...

Can you share your nightmares with the C7090?

Swapping out year old KM7090 for Ricoh 7500

Thank you for your input. The inline finishers are what make a big difference for me since we run small runs of full bleed templates. Really helps just to one click print these out with the KM right now. Problem is it can't fold straight...and yes they tried everything. So offline booklet...

Swapping out year old KM7090 for Ricoh 7500

My KM techs are pretty good. But they are saying the Ricoh techs are much better in my area. Also, I think Ricoh supplies with most consumables and parts that can be easily changed. Which is a plus.

Swapping out year old KM7090 for Ricoh 7500

Hi Guys, Just like the title says I'm getting rid of my 7090 that's been problematic for about a year now for the new Ricoh 7500, possibly. The reason for the changes at the 7090 KM Box has been giving me a lot of issues mainly on the fuser side. Also have issues with my slitter and folding...

Morgana Digifold Pro XL vs Multigraf CF375

I have the Morgana. Great machine, def not good for 20lb but 80lb should be great. If you're not looking to crease you should get something like a Baum. It much faster.

Intec SC6000 / Morgana ColorCut Digital Die Cutter

Understood. I wonder how it would do with 16pt cardstock. Mainly cutting, no creasing.

Water type streaks in printing jobs

Definitely not the paper. I've had this on both the canon 710 and KM 7090. I see it on 100lb text more often than non because it seems like the saturation of the toner is high and fuser temps are too hot. I found that on the KM there's a simple adjustment called "creasing...." (can't remember...

Best folder to use with digitally printed material

I picked up the Morgan's digifold pro XL also Had some issues in the beginning with 100lb text trifold and half fold not being consistent but the techs came out and set some pre set jobs for them with some roller and air specific settings and that helped. Not sure if anyone else had those...

Intec SC6000 / Morgana ColorCut Digital Die Cutter

Great write up, sir. I'm in the market for the SC6500 very soon and I've heard that the crease is very weak for packaging and also was told it needs to be laminated or else it cracks. My main use of the machine is for more short run die cut or kiss cut stickers. Another one of my intended...

Plockmatic/Intec support in US for Intec CS6500

bringing this back from a while ago, sorry. I'm really considering the 6500. I like the compact-ish size and the versatility it offers. For my short run same day style shop I run I think I can really benefit from it. Can anyone share their experience with this machine? Also, whats the best...

    Duplo DC-646 v Duplo DC-618

Been abusing my new 618 I picked up over a year ago and it's fantastic. I was worried about the ROI but for the work it soes, I'd do it all over again now. I also leave my machine on all the time to avoid flat spots. Tech is great. Accuracy is amazing and I'll get weird cuts or misfeeds very...

    Printing variable data envelopes

Do you guys charge the same rate no matter the quantity? I personally use Freeform create that's part of the fiery workstation programs. It's so easy I'd feel guilty charging for setup.

    Upgrading from Xerox V180. Options?

Been running the Konica C7090 for about a year now. I have a bit over 900k clicks, yes it's had its share of issues, but service is always on top of the consumables. Can't say I'm unhappy with it but I must say that iq501 is a lifesaver. I run 100lb gloss text/cover, 16pt C2S and 20/60lb paper...

    Morgana Digifold Pro XL

You're welcome. I believe the feeder now has a set of maybe 6 belts (black in color). Not sure if that what you are referencing.

    Folding Recommendations for Duplo 618

I freaking LOVE my Duplo 618. Saved my life. I have a lot of short run jobs ranking from 100 business cards up to 1000 brochures. We also have a lot of short run folders...up to 100 or so, this thing trims and creases on point EVERY single time. I just let it run everything I throw at it. I...
