Access a Mac from Windows 7 thru RDC

I have RDC on two G5's and a Mac Pro and am able to access our server running Windows 2000 Server. Can I access our Mac's from a Window's 7 computer via RDC?

Had to do this myself once.
I couldn't get RDC to do it, but I used the method shown here, and it worked great:

Will this work from diferrent networks/locations or only on same network?
