Whew! Dodged that bullet !Most recent update on Informed Addressing, they have put it on pause:
If I understood the IA concept correctly, a consumer would only receive an offer from a company, or, a group of products or services, ONLY if they have previously "OPT'ED IN" to receive offers from that company, or, those products or services. Which, would be the end of direct mail advertising as we know it and, a serious, significant financial loss to the USPS.
Could it be that's why the USPS put it on "pause"?
