Hi I'm from THAILAND
I didn't understand that L*a*b* values on 1st printed run were measured by I1 including Tone Value Increase.
How software knew the exactly L*a*b* value? Please explain the reason for me . Thank you

Best regards
Sornchai

X-Rite i1Pro is a spectrophotometer (hardware).
Software can convert % reflectance (spectral data) into any density (SID, TVI) or color metric (CIE Lab, LCh, dE).
ISO Standards use color metrics for calibration.
Density metrics can still be used for process control.
