AE 14 - "Submit to Gang Run" is cutting my files

Hi guys!

I'm trying to impose my stickers A4 into a roll, but when I "Submit to Gang Run" with a cut path SPOT COLOR, AE is removing all which is out of cut marks boundaries.
In another words, AE is removing the smart marks that identifies the order.

Does somebody know how can I get the expected result?

Seems you need to define extra cutting information.

I assume you want AE to nest your full A4 artwork file. But from you description my guess AE considers the spot colour from the individual sticker as the cut path and uses the individual file as the file to nest in stead of the complete A4 file.

You will have to define a cut path (based on trimbox?) for the A4 size. Truecut for instance. You can also define a kisscut for the actual round shape (based on spot colour).

Don't forget to define these 2 cut sep's as cutting output files.

Hope this helps

Thank you Jose!
You got the point!
I want the full A4 artwork file in the nest, but I also need AE generate an imposition layout and a cut layout like these

If I define the cut-path based on trimbox AE will not generates that cutpath
And I can't add the order identifier in the nest because I'll have many orders on the same nested layout.

Thank you very much for the answer, but I think it not solves the problem

Your cutting file can contain different cut seperations if you've defined them in the file - and if you've setup all the cutting inks in the export nested layout task / workflow which is linked to your gangrun output.

To test this make sure the stickers cutting objects (circles) are named kiss cut - let AE create a cut file from the trimbox of the A4 file. Name it true cut for example. Make sure those 2 sep's are correctly set up in the Export nested layout task (add extra structural inks). Like this AE will nest the A4 files - respecting the data on the file - and will create a cutting file with not only the circles of the stickers but also from the A4 size.

Thank you Jose!
I used a smart mark to clone my cut path using a different spot color, than I could use the first spot color to create the A4 and the second to nesting all A4 in the roll.
