Agfa has sold its Duratex Media business of wide & grand format substrates—acquired from Pitman nearly 10 years ago—to Grimco Inc, a leading US supplier of wholesale sign supplies, substrates and sign printing equipment.
Grimco also acquires Agfa's business relating to the purchase & resale of certain 3rd-party manufactured wide format products such as flexible, rigid and aqueous substrates; and certain HP & Epson manufactured printing equipment, inks, service and maintenance activities. In addition, Grimco will become a US authorized reseller of Agfa's Anapurna inkjet printer portfolio.
Agfa remains fully committed to wide format inkjet with continued investment in new products and technologies, including the Anapurna & Jeti grand format printers, inks, service and finishing equipment.
