Anybody else get laid off last week?

Didn't see this one coming for myself. The Sir Speedy I was working for was hopping. They had me working almost day and night. 7 days a week. I was commended for "thanks for getting it done". Greedy basterds just want part time people in and out so they can pay nothing and not pay taxes either.

i've been on 4 day weeks for over a year now (on account of the economy), laid off for 6 weeks over the summer, and am facing either more reduced hours or reduced pay, or both. and there's not much out there...

Company I worked for in Toronto went bankrupt Nov10. It was a great place to work too.
