At our shop we do lot's of Stochastic printing, including 10, 20 and 30 micron, but we always have to make sure that metallics are set to larger dot, 25-30 micron, otherwise we have ghosting on press.
I am not a pressman and the only explanation I have is that metallic particles are larger than 10 micron dot (not sure if this is true) and that is why.
Can someone please shed some light on this if this is true or if it doesn't make sense and why?
Please chime in if you are doing 10 and 20 micron metallic ok without ghosting.
Thanks
