This week, the U.S. Department of Commerce is expected to issue its preliminary determination in the “antidumping” petition against aluminum lithographic printing plates manufactured in Japan and China and imported for use in the U.S. And later this fall, as we have previously communicated, the International Trade Commission is expected to make a final determination as to whether imported printing plates into the U.S. are causing “material injury” to the petitioner – in this case, Eastman Kodak Co. (Kodak).
