Anyone know about Dycril Plates?

The carton supplier that makes our packing cartons for our products in China uses Dycril Plates. This is because we include smaller type and line art on our cartons. Is anyone familiar with Dycril plates for direct print on corrugated cardboard? What are the advantages and disadvantages of using Dycril? Is there another printing plate that is either less expensive or produces a better image that we should be considering?

Dycril is an old letterpress plate developed by Dupont way back in the day. Regular Photopolymer Flexo plates are able to hold fine type, these would include Cyrel.
