Apogee prepress makes Acrobat 9 unstable?

Just wondering if anyone else has been experiencing unstability when Apogee Prepress plugg in is logged in to Apogee. If I don't logg in to Apogee Acrobat seems much more stable for media rich content and touch up tools. (but the touch up tools are the reason i use the check in and check out function)

Guess it's like fighter planes, unstability and crashing is the price for manuverability
