Artpro splitting up tiffs

When we import PDFs into Artpro it will sometimes split some images into a matrix of small images instead of just leaving it as one whole image.

Has anybody experienced this and how do we overcome it.

First check your version of PDF you import in to artpro.

Pdf versions below 1.4 will result in the described problem. Split images! Since this PDF version doesn't support transparencies - opacity & blend modes the split images are already present in the actual PDF itself.

If your PDF version is at least 1.4 or higher check your import settings. There is another thread on correct import settings for PDF when importing.
