Old executive/consultant tactic. When you don't know the answer, just turn it around and direct the question right back at the requestor. Like so:
Should you be using M0 just because that's what was used to create the original characterization data sets? Or should you actually be using M1, or M1 part 1 or 2?
And then turn around and walk away, as if to imply "If you don't know that answer, then, you really shouldn't be working here"
