Avantra OLP 30 Laser cleaning

HI,

I was wondering if someone can help me in locating the laser for our Avantra 30 as we have low density films coming out. We are sure this is the problem as our technician told us so, yet he is unable to help us at the moment as he is away and we can't get through to him by phone. He usually cleans the laser by hand from the bottom side of the OLP without dismounting any parts.

I just gave a look but i can't seem to find anything that looks like a laser!

Any help appreciated!

i really want to thank you for the info. i proceeded to clean the lens which was very dirty as you said.

unfortunately when we imaged a solid box the solid is still not enough.

you said also to recalibrate the exposure, can you give me some hints on how this is done?
