Backstage and Flexrip Back-up

Hi, does anyone have a back-up for the servers so you can continue working should one fail, we thought that maybe both sets of software could reside on both machines and should one machine fail we could move the licence over to the other, Esko have suggested that the best route is to purchase a spare server with both applications and slot it in upon failure.

I would be interested in what others do etc?

I like the idea of having them be a backup of each other. Cheaper option than purchasing a new server that sits idle waiting for another to fail. You'd only be running a day or two on a single server, and so as long as you think your production load can handle that, seems like a plan.

We run both on one machine. So sounds like it could be done. It'd just be a little slower for you (or a lot depending).
