Hi Cyrus, this is Cylus (not even joking)! I wonder if you go by Cy too. Anyway, I suppose the best software would depend on the type of boxes you're gunning for. I'm assuming standard corrugated boxes but correct me if I'm wrong. In my admittedly limited experience, ArtiosCAD was pretty popular for designing box-style packaging. I'd start there and see how it suits you.

You can also try ImpactCad 2016, this software is specially designed for creating boxes.

You can just Google for it and find the best one. And you can select the right one by comparing their features and checking user reviews.

A lot depends on the complexities you have to deal with.
