Bizhub6500 with Creo IC-304 00 --- ghosting of reversed white images

When we send files to the Creo/BizHub that have a white reversed logo over a colored background, the logo prints with a small, very faint white box around it -- almost a ghosted image of a box. Has anyone had this experience? Does anyone know how to prevent this problem? I imagine it has to do with the file and the format of the logo?

What application are you sending from?

If Illustrator or ID check the simulate overprint box in the print area see if that helps.

IF PDF, bring it into ID and do the same.

Similar with white halo applied to outline type

Similar with white halo applied to outline type

The client gave a PDF that looked fine. It was a bus. card and there was a logo made up of just outlined type with a halo applied, and a dark background color. It was imposed on the Creo and the logo type (with the halo) instead of printing just knocked a white box out of the background where it should have been. i got the original AI file from CS2 and make my own PDF and it did the same. If I flatten it in AI it gives the sme result as when printed. ANY IDEAS?
