in my career as a press operator on mulit color machines , i have forund that the correct torque on an offset press thast prints on the bearers is a pretty important thing to do , if you are going to print a good looking sheet that is repoduceing screens of all colors, but if you just want to put plates on and run so be it .. printing is an art, a skilled job, a trade like none other.. your press manufacture should be able to tell you your proper torque,, operatoring a man roland 28 inch 7/c with coater all units 40 Nm torque (pirnting on the bearers) kbarz
