Calendars with extension

Just wondering how these are put together I can't think of any way that a booklet maker would be able to do this as they couldn't be folded together. Are they manually stitched on something like a roseback? Just wondering if I'm missing something simple about how to finish these as I've been seeing more and more of them and a customer had a request for some.

We run the months through a booklet maker and hand stitch the covers.

Yes, Craig's way is the usual.

There are plenty of trade shops that specialize in calendars like this. I suggest you price a trade shop if this is at all out of your usual range of work.
