Hi all,

So i've cleared the room where our old Agfa Avantra 44 image setter once stood and i've discovered this part. Could anybody identify what it is please? There are not many clues. The box it is stored in has a barcode and text which reads "GJ + 63043", "1 stk WA52K MA 1", "Origin DENMARK".

On the part itself it just says "230V - 1500W", "6250 EICHEN"

If anybody can let me know what this is if possible so i can decide whether i can use it for something else or just trash it!

Best regards,

Carl.

I think many users would be glad to have that heater as spare one.
Carl, dont put it in the trash!

Farshad from Armya Service could get you some info about the price.
IMHO: if you know AGFA price - divide it by 2 for customer's satisfaction :)
for 50$ plus mailing - very reasonable; for you - that's like pick-up 50$ from the floor.

Ok Vlad is right.

It is $120.00 CAD in Canada. In other countries it has different price range and as far as I know it is higher than $120.00. If it is lower, I have never heard of it.

I know somebody in Argentina sold it for $450.00 USD and in Iran $720.00 USD.Well, who knows, perhaps in Africa it has the price of a Diamond. Good Luck.;)

Ah ok, might be worth looking into selling then (not trashing!). Is there any information on this part i can find on the internet? An hour of googling provided no results.

Thanks again,

Carl.

Hi Carl,
What do you need? I am the internet Guy.

The Dryer heater element used for the Agfaline 20,30,44 Processors for Phoenix2000/2250 and Avantra 44 XT and sometimes Avantra 44/30. We or Agfa Engineers call it short processor with Sandwich board. I do not know what VLAD Call it.

Do not ask me for the Part Number. It might be company confidential.
Please see the attached pictures of the OLP with above mentioned engines.

Hope this will help!

Farshad

:) I call it the same name, Farshad.
BTW he has a part # (see the start topic).
All parts are very special in prepress and are not in high demand, but reasonable price will force the speed of selling :)
carl_do - be patient and sooner or late you will pickup your 50 buks off the supermarket floor.

You are f... upsss... killing my brain, Carl! :)
Put your feet on the ground and divide that price by 8 to 10 if you dont want to see your part living on ebay forewer:)

Hey guys, it's not a fixed price by any means. There is a best offer available don't you know so make me an offer! :) PayPal only please.

Ha thanks for the generous offer. I only gauged my price from replies on this post. 720 USD was mentioned at some point. Ah well I am not expecting to get the full whack for it anyway

From 30.00$ to 60.00$ is very realistic price valley to be sold definitely.
I dont want that stuff 'cause I have a few at my home stock.

Carl, please do not take me wrong.

I have to keep the part in stock and wait for a customer. It might take few months or years. Included I have to provide them with 90days warranty. In most cases the Part is Ok but due to improper handling, I will have to either return my customers' money or replace the part at no charge and I have been a service engineer on the field for over 15 years and took over 25 international trainings at Heidelberg Print Media Academy Germany, MAN Roland Germany, EskoArtwork Germany, Cron China, Agfa Mortsel, Polar Germany and etc. Most of my international customers know me very well and we have a long business relationship with each other.

Now Carl, would you be giving your customers 90 days warranty? Are you sure your part isn't defective? How your customers can trust you with sending the money to an unknown supplier with a picture of a part? Please consider all these and let me know what your final price offer is?:)
