Can anyone help with Versaworks re-install connection issue

Our Versaworks program wouldn’t open up today so had to re-install it.

When you open the program up for the first time it takes you to the connect to your printer screen, where you have to put in the printer IP address, click on the verify button and it should bring up your printer details, eg make, model number etc. but we are getting the following message ”Cannot find information for the device detected. Please make sure the software supports this device”

Can anyone tell us what this means and how to fix this so we can get our printer up and running again.

Thanks in advance

I know this sounds like an obvious answer, but have you verified your printer is being seen on the network? Are you seeing the little orange and green flashing lights at the network connection point on the back of the printer? Have you tried pinging the printer’s IP address through the windows command prompt tool? (You can find the IP address on the printer’s screen under network settings)
