checking negative text

is there any way of preflighting for negative text and line thickness in a PDF using pitstop, from what i can see it is a generic check and can't distinguish between positive or negative.

Repro,

Can you define 'negative' is this context? Text with only a stroke color? Invisible text with an overprint setting?
How do you add these negative text elements?

Yes i am referring to reverse out type.

After checking the definition of reversed type, I might have an Action List that can help in number of cases.

Select all
Select text segments
Select overprint (knock-out)
AND
Select line art/Select image
Select color (in case of line art)/ Select color space (in case of images)
AND
OR
Select overlapping objects
Log selection (fill out what error should be).

Works on reversed type on black background.

My two cents...

Cheers,
