Clear PVC Infeed Issues

Does anyone have experience running clear PVC on traditional presses? Seems to be an issue when sheets pull to side guide. Friction between sheets causes top sheet to twist thereby misaligning to grippers causing press to stop. Looking for suggestions on how air could be blown between sheets to reduce friction or if other methods have been successful.

thanks,

This is what we did to make running plastic easier. First of course you have to hang the usual metal tinsel to try and get rid of some of the static. Next we took a length of copper pipe 1/2" I think that spanned the whole width of the feedboard and drilled very small holes say every inch. Plugged up one end and fitted a air connector to the other with a adjustable valve. We then positioned the bar on the feedboard and secured it back where we could blow a very small amount of air cushion between the sheets. This worked for us. We also installed a deionised air feeder foot.
Hope this helps Cheers
