Coating Sling

We are getting a lot of coating sling from our aqueous spot coater. KBA sheetfed with a chambered anilox coater. Random throughout the sheets and positions. We have tried different blankets and coatings. Does anyone have ideas on how to prevent this?

Have you checked the coating weight?
Maybe you're putting down too much?
Is the anilox volume (BCM) and viscosity (Zahn Cup) correct for the application (cosmetic gloss vs functional)?
Also, what about squeeze pressure (stripe) between coating blanket and anilox and coating blanket and back cylinder impression?

Thanks Steve. Yes, we have checked and verified these are all good. Are there different cut away blankets that have a deeper relief once the knockouts are removed?
