Cold Foil

The cold foil in letterpress label need a special varnish to do it or i can do it by any color i want?, can i do it in hot foil unit instead vanish unit? the machine is gallus r200.
I know in flexo you do it by any color.

In offset presses, a special adhesive is used in the unit before cold foil. So there may be a special adhesive/varnish for the letter press too.

What exactly are you talking about? Letterpress Varnish?

Yes, Is there a special varnish for cold foil for letterpress? I did it by yellow color but it didn't work well.

Yes it is required special foil bond. what type of inks you are using.. UV inks or water based?
