GPA is currently seeking a full-time Consignment Coordinator for our McCook, IL Facility.

Position responsibilities include:
• Coordinate the set-up, initial stocking, monthly billing and replenishment of inventory for customers approved to participate in GPA’s consignment inventory program.
• Communicate to, and coordinate with, the appropriate members of the Supply Management team ensuring that past purchases and expected inventory requirements of consignment customers are appropriately considered within overall purchasing and inventory management activities.
• Communicate effectively with members of the Sales force, coordinating initial account set-up and monthly inventory of consignment stock levels.
• Working at the direction of the VP-Finance and the Director of Supply Management, coordinate the initial account set-up and stocking of accounts approved for participation in the GPA consignment inventory program, following approved procedures.
• Working with the appropriate members of the Sales force, ensure timely completion of the monthly inventory of consignments stock levels for each consignment account.
• Compile monthly product usage data for each consignment customer and forward to Accounting in a manner which facilitates timely and accurate invoicing.
• Compile and communicate monthly restocking requirements, coordinating with the appropriate members of both the Supply Management and Warehouse Operations teams, to ensure timely replenishment of consignment inventory to approved levels.
• Coordinate with other members of the Supply Management Team to ensure that past purchases and expected inventory requirements of consignment customers are appropriately incorporated within overall purchasing and inventory management activities.
• Monitor inventory usage / sales at the account level to ensure that inventory levels are consistent with the needs of the customer and, planned inventory turns.
• Identify accounts which merit either the reduction or, increase of inventory stocking levels
• Maintain month records of sales and shipments at the account level; prepare reports and/or conduct analysis as required.
• Confirm delivery / receipt of replenishment orders.

Position requirements include
• High school diploma, or GED; some college preferred
• Experience in purchasing or inventory management.
• Good communication skills; both written and oral
• Maintain professional demeanor and conduct while interfacing with both internal and external contacts.
• Strong Customer Service attitude both to internal and external customers.
• Highly effective organizational skills and the ability to be process oriented.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
• Self-starter, attentive to detail, producing accurate work product on a timely basis.
• Works independently, with little direction.
