Hi,
I'm considering switching from an old Agfa X45 along with it's wet processor, to an Agfa Avalon with the intention of running Azura plates. The laser on my current machine is not powerful enough to expose a thermal plate (so says Agfa). I run Apogee 6.0 to PrintDrive and then on to the X45. My question is, If I purchase the setter and cleanout used, lets say, What will my costs be to get it up and running? Do I need to buy a specific Task Processor for Apogee, or do I just add a driver for the Avalon, the update my media files? Is the installation and calibration of the platesetter be something that Agfa would perform (for a fee), even though it would be used equipment?
