CPP 500 Overheating

Due to costs, we have had to release the service contract on our IKON CPP 500 and am doing repairs myself. We have been having a major issue with overheating and coding out. IKON wants over $4000 for a heat sensor, right now I have an AC and fans all over but it still shuts down on its own all the time. Any solutions?
