Creo Brisque 5.1 value?

I've recently acquired Creo Brisque 5.1 (software only) and, as it's of no use to me, was wondering if it has any commercial value? I have the original discs in the original box.

Any input gratefully received.

I'm pretty sure it's only of value if you had the hardware it runs on.
Those systems have been off the market for several years now.
A complete Brisque is a hard sell today, but if you accept any limitations it has, it can work just fine for an end user.

You mean license keys? I've got the box with everything in it as far as I can see, comprising a 'welcome' booklet, general configuration list, 6 CDs and 2 floppy disks. The CDs are: Pre-Installation (v5.1 ready), Brisque AIX 5.2 (ML01), Brisque AIX 5.2 Add-on (ML01), Brisque Version 5.1 Product 1 of 2, Brisque 5.1 Product 2 of 2 and Brisque 5.1 Accessories. The floppies are Brisque V5.x Installation Diskette For Cold Start Only and Brisque V4.x To V5.x Migration Diskette.

It was a long time ago, but in Brisque hardware training, I seem to recall a chip on the motherboard that the license key was paired with, so another user across town couldn't split the cost of an upgrade, etc.

I know there is a code that goes with the software. I do not recall if the code was specifically tied to hardware. It may have been. In which case the software is completely useless.

i think you need a license code from Kodak to use it and activate any extra features.
Brisque is end of life this year so its probably worthless.

We never got around to upgrading so we still used 4.1 which i now no longer need as we are upgrading our machine.
full working order with trap function, easy to use.

Not sure what they looked like, there is some text/numbers written on the inside door of the cpu(unix).
I have all the documentation , i'm sure they will give it to me if it helps them sell me prinergy.
The only diff i found in brisque 4 to 5 was 5 had the ability to rip the files on the computer you are working from, where 4.1, we had a seperate computer to handle it so i never bothered updating.

Ive just been in contact with kodak/creo, the tech guy emailed me all the passwords/codes and his exact words were :
"please find attached the document with all the licensed options for your Brisque. You can pass it on to who ever buys it."

Hello.
I have a big problem. Our IBM p43 is running our Brisque 4.1 finally broke. We bought in the U.S. IBM 44P-170 with the code for Brisque on the cover but without the CDs. Transported across the ocean. Install our Brisque 4.1 But we can not license shall not be a code with the computer cover. We caught up with KODAK we were told that the 44P-170 was Brisque 5 or 5.1 and the password from him will not be accepted for 4.1 So now we are looking for a set of disks for installation 5 or 5.1 If someone has a set of installation disks, together with a install floppy disk, please Dump program UltraISO or similar and place it on any filesharing, I'll be very grateful. In response, I can send our disks from 4.1 to somebody if they are needed.
Please help!!!!
Very strange business with KODAK - we have two computers, two different passwords, one complete set of disks, but we can not work with it. I can not understand why buying a program, I still have to pick up under her computer ....
