I’ve got a Mimaki CJV150 that has a shot printhead (admittedly due to having not using it enough…lesson learnt).
I’ve had a quote for having the printhead and cap top replaced and looking at roughly £2.5k as long as nothing else needs replacing.
I’ve also had a look at some refurbished HP Latex printers and I could get a refurbished 335 for between £3.5-4K which has user replaceable printheads.
My only concern is that with the samples I’ve received from a HP Latex you can see the dot pattern quite clearly and just looks rubbish up close (we mainly print stickers).
