CRON-ECRM announces its entry into digital flexo CtP with the CRON-ECRM HDI-900 Flexo.
With a compact footprint, this flexographic platesetter images at resolutions up to 9600 dpi. Targeted to label, packaging, carton and corrugated printers, the company claims to have a price/value advantage over the competition.
ECRM HDI family also produces letterpress and flexographic plates, as well as ablative films. By utilizing individual fiber-coupled diodes, the company claims that users benefit from redundancy, eliminating production downtime in the event of laser failure.
The new platesetter will be running live at Label Expo-2016, Booth #5325–with both solvent and water wash plates–imaging up to 9600 dpi with a maximum plate size of 920x730mm & as small as 100x160mm.
