Does anybody know where we can get heidelberg di test files, we should have them on our D drive but they are missing. Can anybody help?

What kind of DI press are you using? You can usually your RIP software to produce a test file. If you are using a Harlequin RIP you can go to the OUTPUT - PRINT CALIBRATION menu of the RIP. Next, highlight your page setup for the DI and then click PRINT UNCALIBRATED PRESS TARGET. This should output a DI test target that you can then run on press.

Hope this information helps. If you are looking for a specific test file please let the forum know but it would also be good to know the model of the press.

We sell new RIPs, RIP upgrades and offer support for the DI presses:
Harlequin RIP, Harlequin RIPs, Software RIP, NEW! Harlequin Software RIP Version 9

We have a di plus, running a highwater torrent rip, yes I think we can get test files from the rip but we are specifically looking for the heidelberg files for diode strengh with the 4-up option on the plate plus the other files for fit etc.

If I remember correctly you have to go to the S button on the press home screen farthest to the right and press the diode calibration button. This will then let you image the zone test which is just a 60% screen. If you stay in this screen and print the file it will then let you image the 2, 3 and 4 more times. If the file does no exist this should build automatically one for you. Also there is a 60% button in this same S button that will create the 60% for you. Again this is all done from the press console. If this doesn't work it might be because of your different RIP configuration. I'm almost positive this is all done from the press computer and has nothing to do with the RIP. Hope this helps.

Our problem is when we print the S button we get D drive error (files does not exist) and when we interogate that drive it is empty, I can only presume that at some stage somebody had deleted the files, so I was hoping somebody has them and can tell us how to re-install.
