JOB SUMMARY: Assist in the Printing Services production operation. Operate bindery, high speed digital duplicating equipment including Canon Titan – VP6300, Canon OC Vario140, and Xerox Versant 4100, and other production equipment as needed, including equipment setup, operation, and minor maintenance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The subsequent duties outline the fundamental operations of the position and exemplify the nature of the tasks carried out. 1. Operate and maintain duplication equipment, including scanning and programming of jobs to be printed.

2. Assist customer service with clerical responsibilities such as answering phones, customer service, order entry, billing, and filing.

3. Perform basic page layout and imposition to properly format customer-supplied files for printing. This includes a basic working knowledge of both Prisma Prepare and Firey Rip Software.

5. Review customer requests/work orders and proof for accuracy and integrity.
Daily 10%

6. Assist with binding/finishing, packaging, and shipping of printed and duplicated materials.
Daily 10%

7. Maintain logs of completed jobs, records of production, etc.
Daily 10%

8. Organize workload to ensure production deadlines are met and arrange jobs in printer que to meet production needs.

9. Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The minimum prerequisites of formal education, professional work experience, certifications, licenses, endorsements, designations, trainings, and other criteria that a candidate must fulfill to be considered for a position. It is essential that certifications, licenses, endorsements, designations, and trainings are fulfilled, valid, and not expired.

Criminal background check and fingerprinting required
High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma
Two (2) years of printing service work experience
Basic knowledge of typical office equipment such as telephones, copiers, fax machines, email, etc.
Basic knowledge of common office application software
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide)
Basic organizational skills
Basic verbal and written communication skills
Basic interpersonal relations and teamwork skills
Intermediate knowledge of production equipment software such as Prisma Prepare and Firey
Ability to document scan and print formatting
Able to work independently with minimal direction
Ability to edit and thoroughly proofread
Ability to be adaptive to changing needs
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
