General Description:
Direct single-site manufacturing operations through a team of managers and supervisors. Ensure increasing levels of customer and employee satisfaction while improving the efficiency of manpower, materials and machines. Ultimately responsible for 75+ employees (multi-shifts).

Essential Functions and responsibilities include:
• Oversees manufacturing departments and review production and operating reports to resolve operational, manufacturing, and facility problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays and to meet future growth.
• Manages policy deployment in the areas of manufacturing techniques, quality, cost reduction, complete and on-time delivery, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations, visual controls and plant performance measures.
• Balances work capacity/loading across the plant.
• Determine operations headcount needs and ensures compliance with Company policies.
• Oversees key projects, processes and performance reports, data and analysis
• Reviews operations and plans to meet requirements for sales planning and to ascertain manufacturing or outsourcing requirements as new markets are developed.
• Participates in formulating and administering company policies, directing and coordinating all manufacturing department activities to develop and implement long range goals and objectives to meet business and profitability growth objectives.
• Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives.
• Confers with CEO and other Senior Management to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions.
• Develops, reviews, updates and implements business strategic planning.
• Reviews and approves preparation of accounting analysis: for budgetary planning and implementation, production efficiency, financial reporting, budgetary planning and submittal for capital expenditures.
• Provides leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training and development.
• Manage compliance with state and federal regulations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Daily supervision of a team of mangers and supervisors

Specific Job Skills

 . 10+ year experience in the mailing fulfillment business including digital printing, lettershop, fulfillment, commingling and warehouse distribution.
 Leadership: A demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
 Quality orientation
 Planning: Ability to perform short and long range planning
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 Strong project and program management skills
 Measurement of performance to company goals and standards and establishment of targets for improvements in safety, quality, cost, delivery and employee relations.

.The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas which requires appropriate footwear. Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in an typical manufacturing environment
