Director of Quality Assurance
Gamse Lithographing Co. Inc., a national packaging printer in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Director of Quality Assurance. The ideal candidate should have a QA background with experience in the Graphic Arts, and a BS degree in a related field. ASQ certification and experience in Lithographic and/or Flexo printing would be preferable. Excellent verbal, written, math and computer skills are a must.
This position is responsible for all areas of internal, customer and vendor quality. The successful candidate will manage the quality steering committee and various quality and productivity improvement initiatives. Other areas of responsibility include new project development, material trials, monitoring of plant facilities, and vendor certification. Some travel to customers and vendors is required. The position will report directly to the company president and manage a QA Department of four people.
