does esko cdi have 5080 dpi option ?

our plate maker says he made our plate on 5080 dpi on esko cdi
this make sense ?

Esko has 2 model (Spark & Crystal) with 5080 as part of their name.
The specs for addressability is 2540 spi.

Newer Esko CDIs can be equipped to run up to 5080, but 4000dpi is the standard because more than 4000dpi doesn't yield better results in most cases.

For some special cases (typically security printing) You can special order a CDI up to 10,000 dpi.

i send him 5080 dpi tiff files to expose probably the machine not esko but alternative one
