Double sided tape applicator

Anyone use or know of a good manufacturer of "Tape Applicator" equipment. We're getting a lot of runs from a single customer to produce pads that need double sided tape strips applied to the back of the pad. Since it's a single customer I'm thinking something like a tabletop machine that is hand fed or similar. Any thoughts?

We just built a jig to hold a roll of the kleenstick tape and then peel it off and put it on by hand . . .

What if you want the release liner to stay on for someone to remove at a later time and seal shut? It looks like the 3M gun will take it off when it's applied.

yes, that's only available with a single release liner I think. If we need a release liner to stay on the tape (for example those stand up restaurant table things sent out flat), we just use the finger lift tape like this:

and cut it by hand to size. There might be a machine to do it automatically, but we only do up to a few thousand at a time.

I use one of these. Not exactly precise, but good for short runs and it'll handle the double sided tape while leaving the liner on.
