EFI Colorproof / GMG with Epson 9900

Hi everyone, since the Epson 9900 can support 1440 x 1440 printed resolution, I was wondering if both of these rips (EFI Colorproof / GMG) can also support printing contract proofs at 1440 x 1440. I know that GMG can also mimic up to 200 lpi dot simulation proofing but can it also do it at 1440 x 1440?
