The aim of the partnership is to unite imposition and planning, creating a seamless workflow from initial quote through to ripping. Tilia’s Phoenix Plan Configurator collects individual orders coming into Enfocus Switch–along with run length & meta data–and searches combinations, across all available presses and stocks, to find the most cost effective, ganged layouts. Once Phoenix has finished planning, the cheapest cost results are returned to switch in several different output formats such as imposed PDF, JDF, PDF, XML-based reports, or Phoenix jobs.
