Equios PTR Upgrade

Good Afternoon, We recently discovered that Screen no longer has service contracts (SMA) available for Equois Pre4m. Which basically is Trueflow 7.x with a different GUI. So we are "working without a net". Kinda scary. Wish Screen would have given us a heads up. Anyway our options are to continue without an SMA and pay by the call for support/service/parts or upgrade to Equious PTR which I think is about $8,000 (USD). Our server is less than 2 years old so we should be able to run PTR. We have be lucky and have not any issues where we needed to to contact Screen in the last year or so, but that could change at a moments notice. Trying to justify the expense when things are going well is tough. We are scheduling a demo, probably next week, so we should be able to get a feel for PTR. What are some opinions of places using PTR ? Is the upgrade worth the expense ? What is the learning curve ? Any input is appreciated. - Thanks Jeff
