Hi all,
I’m struggling with an integrated Fiery EX-i 80 on a Versant 80 Press (System 10).

I’m struggling with an integrated Fiery EX-i 80 on a Versant 80 Press (System 10).
This is the behaviour I’m seeing every single morning:
- Power-on sequence
- Fiery boots, but the NIC never receives an IP—not even the static address I assigned (192.168.68.240).
- On the RJ-45 jack only the upper green LED (link) is lit; the lower LED (speed) stays dark.
- Work-around that revives it
- From the Xerox front panel → Connectivity & Network Setup.
- Change IP Address Resolution from DHCP to BOOTP, tap Save (Fiery restarts the interface).
- Change straight back from BOOTP to DHCP and Save once more.
- Fiery reboots; this time both LEDs light up (upper = green, lower = amber) and the server finally pulls a proper IP from DHCP (or honours the static one).
- I do that little DHCP-BOOTP shuffle, the Fiery is invisible on the network.
