A new survey released by FedEx Office shows that consumers & small business owners find comfort, preferring tangible, printed materials, despite an increasingly digital / on-demand society. 9 in 10 consumers agreed there will always be a need for printed materials, including almost ½ of millennial responders—saying a world without paper would make them feel stressed or annoyed.

- Nine in 10 consumers & small business owners preferred reading materials on paper—most notably official documents & contracts.
- 85% of consumers said they are more likely to shop with a small business that has custom/professionally printed materials.
- 4 out of 5 small business owners said that professional printing services can help their businesses stand out from the competition.
- 9 in 10 consumers agreed the quality of printed materials is an indication of the quality of service provided.
